Niall Harrington

Niall Harrington is Director and Country Manager, Ireland and is the Chief Executive Officer for Pershing Securities International Limited at BNY Mellon | Pershing. He is a member of the Executive Committee for Pershing Limited, the BNY Mellon EMEA Pension Governance Council and the BNY Mellon EMEA Operating Council. Niall is responsible for the overall management of Pershing's Ireland Office, meeting regulatory and control requirements and the strategic development of the business in Ireland.

Prior to joining Pershing in 2007, Niall was head of Operations at Goodbody, Ireland's longest established stockbroking firm. He also previously established a number of offshore life and funds business start-ups in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre. These included, Prudential Europe, Scottish Amicable Europe, J. Rothschild International and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Niall earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin. He is a Chartered Director and holds a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction (Dip IoD UK), and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has also completed the Securities Industry Institute programme, sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
