Claire Santaniello is a Managing Director for BNY Mellon | Pershing and a member of its Executive Committee. Claire serves as Head of Operations and leads Pershing’s Operations, Trading and India Services teams. She previously served as global chief administrative officer, global chief risk officer and global chief compliance officer.
Claire is a member of the Securities and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Board and has served as the former vice-chair of SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Steering Committee, former co-chair of the SIFMA Compliance and Regulatory Policy Committee, former member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Membership Committee, former member of the FINRA Adjudicatory Council (NAC), former co-chair of the FINRA Statutory Disqualification Committee of the NAC and former member of FINRA Market Regulation Committee.
Claire earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Muhlenberg College. She also completed the Securities Industry Institute program, sponsored by SIFMA, at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
