2014 Marks a Year of Innovation and Transformation for Pershing’s Technology Solutions

Launch of an array of new digital technologies demonstrates Pershing’s commitment to anticipating the changing needs of advisors and their clients

HOLLYWOOD, FL - At its annual INSITE™ 2014 conference, Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon company, laid out the innovations that will have a transformative impact on advisor and investor technology. For the first time in the same calendar year, Pershing is launching new versions of all its major platforms – including NetX360®, NetX360® Mobile, NetXInvestor™(NXI) and NetXInvestor Mobile as well as new versions of Albridge Wealth Reporting  and a new Managed Investments portal integrated into NetX360. The rollout of these various platforms reflects Pershing's technology strategy which puts particular emphasis on leveraging digital technology to achieve new business growth and opportunity.

Through client surveys and engagement with 1,200 Pershing platform users across 244 firms, Pershing has utilized the detailed feedback on their preferences and priorities to simplify and optimize the current user experience, extend integration and continue to build on core technology offerings. Additional needs that are being addressed include greater collaboration between advisors and investors, as well as consistent experiences and user-friendly design across devices.

Investor Experience

Pershing's redesigned investor-facing portal, NetXInvestor™ (formerly NetExchange Client®), which has been rolled out to over 500 firms since its introduction, delivers a highly customized, intuitive user experience that raises advisor-client collaboration to a new level. The new site now has:

  • A new site design with improved navigation and a more intuitive user experience
  • Flexibility with feature sets to offer individualized online experiences
  • Site simplicity and enhanced data presentation capabilities
  • A new integrated research offering from Markit on Demand
  • A consolidated notification center to improve collaboration between investors and advisors

Throughout 2014, Pershing will continue to expand the capabilities within NXI to include more flexibility with branding down to the advisor level. It will also add more self-service features, collaboration tools, integrated reporting capabilities and enhanced mobile presentation.

Advisor Experience

The enhancements unveiled in the redesigned NetX360 platform focus on advisor productivity and offering flexible technology, letting the users define the experience they want to have based on their unique needs. The customizable improvements cover the spectrum of advisor-client touch points, including:

  • A new user interface and navigation experience that can be tailored to individual preferences
  • Improved data presentation, spanning fonts, colors and graphics, as well as tile-based screens for easier navigation
  • Enhanced integration with Managed Investments and Albridge Solutions data
  • Dynamic, user-defined dashboards and favorites
  • Global search as a primary navigation method and a new consolidated notifications center
  • Task portability across browser, .net and mobile access points

Prioritizing Mobile Innovation

The new NetX360® Mobile platform, launched this spring, features a major upgrade to its user interface, enabling a better mobile experience, enhanced client engagement and collaboration, and easier access to critical client data. It also includes a host of other features designed to enhance productivity outside of the office, such as alerts and investment opportunities.

Enhancing Cross-Platform Integration
At INSITE 2014, Pershing will also introduce newly redesigned platforms that are fully integrated with NetX360, enabling advisors to grow their businesses and meet their clients' changing needs. This includes a fully redesigned Albridge Wealth Reporting™ platform, Pershing's next generation Managed Investments platform.
