Mark Aldoroty is a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Solutions for Pershing. Mark leads a team that serves institutional-oriented broker-dealers, investment banks and other capital markets firms, hedge funds and alternative investment managers. Pershing’s institutional platform provides clients with a single, seamless experience backed by the strength and scale of BNY Mellon, offering financing, collateral management, global trade execution, securities lending and syndicate capabilities. Mark is a member of Pershing’s Executive Committee.
Prior to his current role, Mark was head of business development, client relationships and account management for Pershing Institutional Solutions. Before that, Mark led Pershing’s Prime Services and Collateral Funding and Trading units for seven years.
Mark’s institutional and prime brokerage career spans more than 25 years. Before joining the firm in 2014, he was a Managing Director for Citigroup Prime Finance, where he was responsible for the sales and relationship management team and head of client service and client integration. He previously held senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Brooklyn College. He currently sits on several BNY Mellon committees, including the firm’s Asset Strategy Forum, Credit Risk Committee, and Asset Liability Committee. He is active in diversity and inclusion initiatives, and currently serves as co-chair of BNY Mellon’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) Male Allies Group.
