Michael Madaio is a Managing Director and Head of Collateral Funding and Trading for Pershing. He is currently the interim Head of Institutional Solutions and a member of Pershing’s Executive Committee leading a team that serves institutional-oriented broker-dealers, investment banks and other capital markets firms, hedge funds and alternative investment managers.
A valued leader with Pershing since 2010, Mike has played a pivotal role building and growing Pershing’s Prime Services and Collateral Funding and Trading units. Previously, he held senior roles at Global Locate Services, PaineWebber, UBS Securities and Newvest Securities.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree from Fordham University. He has completed the Securities Industry Institute® program, sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Michael is a member of SIFMA’s Prime Brokerage and Security Lending Committee and serves on several Security Lending and Repo working groups. He is a former member of the U.S. Board of EquiLend LLC.
