Saying you are the “best” is easyproving you are the “best” is hard. So when you have the proof, especially when it is collected and validated by one of the nation’s leading market research firms, suddenly the word “best” truly has meaning.
That is why Pershing is proud to announce that our brokerage account statement has been ranked Number 1 among firms in the Brokerage Industry category in the 11th annual Trends and Best Practices in Investor Statements survey recently published by DALBARthe leading market research firm that evaluates and promotes higher standards for investor statements.
The statement received a rating of “Excellent,” with a score of 89.49 out of a possible 100 points. The rating is based on the statement’s clear content and “desirable features,” such as customization flexibility and the sequence and consistency of its data. This year's rating marks the fifth consecutive year that Pershing's statements have received an "Excellent" rating from Dalbar.
Being the Best Matters
A Siegel & Gale study (January 2009) reported that more than 6 out of every 10 American consumers felt financial institutions intentionally complicate communications with clients in order to "hide risk or keep people in the dark.” Straightforward information presentation has always been important. Recent market disruption has made it imperative.
