For business purposes, a disaster is defined as any incident that causes loss of access to our buildings or the services within them. The Incident Management Team (IMT) has the responsibility to declare a disaster and invoke the Business Continuity Plan. If the Business Continuity Plan is to be invoked, you will be notified by your team captain, the IMT, or one of its representatives.
To be prepared for an invocation, don't forget to:
- Travel with your iNautix identification card and wallet contact card
- Take your mobile phone and/or paging device
- Stay in contact with your team captain of your group for directions and status updates
In the event of an incident, iNautix associates MUST NOT:
- Go to their original site until told to do so by a member of the IMT or their team captain
- Speak to the media
- Speak to anyone about the incident or invocation other than those persons you know to be iNautix associates
INCIDENT RESPONSE (OUTSIDE BUSINESS HOURS)
- The decision to invoke the business continuity plan will be made by the IMT
- If the business continuity plan is invoked, consult the PLAN INVOCATION section below
- If the business continuity plan is not invoked, await further instructions
- If you receive notification of an incident from the IMT, follow instructions provided from the IMT, your team captain, or your department manager
- If you learn of an incident via alternative means (news reports, coworkers, etc.):
- Call the Business Interruption Hotline
- Return home and remain available
- Consider the impact of the incident on departmental business and convey any relevant information to your manager, team leader, or the IMT
PLAN INVOCATION
Following an invocation communication:
- Department managers will determine if shift work is possible from the recovery site
- Associates not immediately required at the recovery site should remain available
MANAGER/TEAM CAPTAIN
The IMT is made up of senior management and executives with the responsibility for declaring an event. The Team Captains and departmental managers will coordinate and manage the recovery process.
- If instructed, or if appropriate, place the departmental recovery team on standby; consider having additional associates assist with notification
- If applicable, notify the appropriate associates of relocation; ensure that they have directions to the recovery site and are carrying their iNautix identification card

BUSINESS RECOVERY STRATEGY
The recovery strategy is summarized below:
- The IMT will coordinate the entire Firm's response to any event
- The Team Captain and required team members will report to the IMT bridge to assist with business recovery
- PTG Senior Management and iNautix Senior Management teams will be briefed and consider the incident’s effects and the critical project list
- Team members not reporting to the recovery site will coordinate remote access work with the Team Captain
OTHER SOURCES OF INFORMATION
Incident Management Team (IMT): IMT members are proxy representatives who are able to understand the implications of individual business unit issues while maintaining a corporate perspective.
- Ensure departmental compliance with directives from IMT
- Obtain operational status of the groups they represent
- Assess incident and determine firm-level response
- Ensure responses are implemented correctly
- Coordinate with key personnel i.e., managers, business continuity coordinators, etc.
BC Captains: A Team representative who is responsible for coordinating the contact with associates in that team immediately after the event and subsequently during the recovery process.
