Yvonne Young is a Managing Director for Pershing, a BNY Mellon company. Since 2007, Ms. Young has overseen Pershing’s Enterprise Program Office and technology-related risk control functions. She is responsible for project management, business analysis, business process reengineering, infrastructure coordination, process improvement, information security and global technology risk management. Prior to her current role, Ms. Young managed Pershing’s application development efforts. Ms. Young joined Pershing in 1992 as a Solution Architect responsible for trading-related systems and PC Financial Network, a PC discount brokerage application now known as CSFBdirect. In 1995, Ms. Young became a Senior Vice President, with overall management responsibility for Pershing's Solution Architects department.
Before joining Pershing, Ms. Young worked at First Boston Corp. as a Vice President responsible for development and implementation of trading-related systems for both the front and back office. Prior to that, she was a Vice President in the Application Development department of Drexel Burnham & Lambert for more than four years. Ms. Young earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Computer Science from the City University of New York.
