Sharon Simmons is a Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee for Pershing LLC, where she is responsible for the overall management of Pershing's People Services business unit, which encompasses all human resources, diversity, training, and professional development programs for the firm. Ms. Simmons joined Pershing in 2001 as a Director and the Senior Manager of the Professional Resources Group within the Pershing Technology Group.

Prior to joining Pershing, Ms. Simmons worked at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB). Ms. Simmons joined CSFB in 1995, where she had several senior management roles within the Human Resources Department, including responsibilities as Global Head of Human Resources for CSFB's Information Technology area. Previously, Ms. Simmons worked in the Human Resources area of Merrill Lynch's Investment Banking group.

Ms. Simmons is a member of the Human Resources Management Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. She is also a founding member of The Bank of New York Global Diversity Council. Ms. Simmons earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Kean University.
