Pershing has been awarded the DALBAR Recognition for Excellence Award in Call Center Service, the gold standard for service quality within the financial services industry. Pershing received the Recognition for Excellence Award after it exceeded the criteria for DALBAR’s call service excellence standards. DALBAR is an independent company with 30 years of experience evaluating, auditing and rating business practices.

Pershing was awarded the 2012 International Service Excellence Award by the Customer Service Institute of America (CSIA) and recognized as the "Best of the Best" for its leading global customer service. This special distinction recognizes a company for having won the International Service Excellence Award multiple times and scored higher in its category than any of its peers.

Money Management Institute Announces Annual Industry Leadership Award Winners
At its annual Gateway to Leadership Dinner on April 26, 2012, the Money Management Institute (MMI), the national association for the managed investment solutions and wealth management industry, announced the 2012 Industry Leadership Award winners. Pershing Managed Account Solutions1 was named the Advisory Solutions Service Provider of the Year. This award is given out each year to the partner that best contributed to the innovation, growth and long-term sustainability of the managed solutions industry.

Pershing Honored for "Creative Excellence"
Pershing came away with honors for creative excellence at the 17th Annual Financial Communications Society (FCS) Portfolio Awards. We received awards in three categories at this annual event, which acknowledges best-in-class creative work from retail to business-to-business (B2B) marketing and advertising across multiple channels:

  • Re-invigoration of www.advisorintransition.com for the B2B - Single Entry - Website category, for Web pages or microsites created/designed to promote a specific product line or to support a specific communications campaign. Silver Award.
  • Pershing ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP) Packaging for B2B - Single entry - Collateral category, for any print communication that does not appear in paid media and is not generally mailed to large numbers of people (direct mail). Included are capabilities brochures, sales kits and product catalogs, among others. Silver Award.
  • Pershing At Work For You Microsite Campaign for the B2B - Campaign - Website category, for Web pages or microsites created/designed to promote a specific product line or to support a specific communications campaign. Bronze Award.

The FCS is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving professional standards in all facets of the financial communications arena - including marketing, advertising, investor relations, media, public relations and other areas.

Certified Customer Service Organization

International Customer Service Awards
We are honored to announce that, in December 2010, Pershing became the first financial organization in North America to be awarded certification to the International Customer Service Standard (ICSS) by the Customer Service Institute of America (CSIA), the certifying body for the ICSS in North America.With the achievement of certification, we are also a finalist for the International Service Excellence Awards for 2011. We believe this award is another example of how Pershing continues to look for ways to lead the industry in service excellence.

The ICSS is based on a balanced scorecard methodology that evaluates organizations not only on their focus and commitment to their customers, but also their ability to deliver cohesive and seamless service. Organizations must demonstrate this commitment across 25 attributes set by the ICSS; a minimum score for each attribute is required for an organization to be awarded certification. The CSIA believes that an organization requires alignment between passion and process to achieve service excellence. Four key perspectives are necessary to accomplish this goal:

  • Service
  • Financial
  • Operational
  • Learning and growth

To obtain certification to the ICSS, we provided a self-assessment. We also completed onsite assessments, where CSIA-licensed representatives reviewed our processes and company culture.

Pershing affiliate, Albridge Solutions, Inc., was ranked number one in portfolio management in the fourth annual technology survey of Financial Planning magazine. Albridge Wealth Reporting garnered top honors in the survey for its portfolio management system that aggregates client account data from hundreds of disparate sources, including proprietary, banking, brokerage, insurance, retirement, alternatives and trusts, and integrates portfolio accounting and performance reporting.

Pershing received a Bronze Medal in the 24th International Team Excellence Award competition at the 2009 American Society for Quality (ASQ) World Conference on Quality and Improvement. Pershing was awarded the medal for the creation and evolution of its Service Level Management infrastructure and Service Excellence culture, including its client Quality Scorecard. This framework for quality and continuous improvement has increased efficiency for Pershing’s clients and driven operational speed and accuracy to new levels.
